Hello, My Name Is...

Welcome Friends! Today you are privy to my first official blog! I am really excited that we had 10+ inches of snow dropped on us, because it actually made me a more productive woman. Woo-hoo!
First and foremost, I should introduce you to “The Fam” my gang, my peeps, my only true loves. J
Sean aka “The Hubby”. He is my person. My best friend, the peanut butter to my jelly, the Sonny to my Cher. You will hear me reference him a lot, considering we have children and all of that good lovey mushy stuff. <3
Jack aka “Jack Attack”. He is our first born…our little clown and our talkative little theatrical man. He is five years old and the most awesome kid on the planet. He always has something witty to say that will make you laugh.
Fisher aka “Fisherman”. This is our newest addition to the clan. He is 5 months old an already I can tell he is going to be a handful. He has learned to blow bubbles, roll over and babble like there is no tomorrow. He thinks he is the cat’s meow.
And then there is me. Ashley aka “Mama”. The one and only! You’ll learn more about me as we go along…but let’s just say that I am the jack of all trades.
Between Sean and I we have overcome so much in our pasts to get to the point we are at now…truly happy with an amazing family and a great future ahead of us. It’s exciting to see how we have grown together. I sit on the couch, under an Arkansas Razorback Snuggie watching American Pickers and Pawn stars and he sits on the couch with me and watches Grey’s Anatomy on Thursdays. We are the perfect definition of an old married couple…and we aren’t even old! And yes…we own a Snuggie. A collegiate one at that. Woo Pig Sooie!
I like to think that we live a pretty normal simple life. Sean and I both work hard to be able to provide our family with the things we want. We pay our bills on time, and put our family first, ALWAYS. I tend to do really dumb things sometimes, that make me question my natural hair color on a daily basis…like believing peanuts grow on trees, and setting Styrofoam plates down on hot stove burners. But it’s the little things that we do that keep us laughing and in good spirits. I love it. I love us.
So much has changed over the past two years and I can’t wait to see how we all grow and change over the years to come. Now you know a little bit about us. Trust me, you will learn more…probably much more than you could ever care to learn, in the future. Brace yourselves.
